    Lake Bastrop
    Lake Bastrop is a reservoir of the Colorado River, located in Spicer creek, just outside Bastrop. A quarter of the shoreline is owned by the Boy Scouts of America. It is a popular spot for recreational fishing, with catfish, crappie, perch, sunfish, carp, and largemouth bass all found within its waters.

    Barton Springs Pool
    This is a natural swimming area that is fed by the Edwards Aquifer, and is located in Zilker Park in the heart of Austin. There are also vast green spaces around the pool where visitors can enjoy a picnic or simply relax in the park.
